Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary – General Conditions of Entry

These Conditions of Entry apply to Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary (CCWS), located at 65 Orlando Street

By entering CCWS, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Admission

  • Published times for shows and attractions may vary, and no guarantees are made that advertised attractions will be available or operating. Some attractions may be affected by adverse weather or maintenance.

2. Children and Supervision

  • Children 13 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by a person 18 years of age or older to enter the Sanctuary

3. Prohibited Items

  • No commercially prepared food or beverages may be brought into the Sanctuary.
  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. You may be refused entry or evicted if you are found to be in possession of, or under the influence of, alcohol or drugs.
  • Glassware, sharp objects, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades, or other equipment that may interfere with pedestrian traffic or animal welfare are not permitted.
  • Novelty items such as balloons, party decorations, and devices with lighting or sound effects are not permitted, as they could pose a welfare risk to animals or disrupt guests’ enjoyment.

4. Animal Welfare and Interaction

  • Animal welfare is our top priority. Any harm or threatened harm to animals will result in immediate removal from the Sanctuary.
  • Guests must treat animals with respect and may not touch animals unless instructed by qualified staff.
  • Crossing animal barriers, such as those around dolphins or other restricted areas, is strictly prohibited.

5. Animals and Assistance Dogs

  • Due to quarantine requirements, no animals are permitted – see seperate assistance animal policy

6. Alcohol and Responsible Service

  • CCWS holds a liquor license, and guests agree to follow all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines.
  • Disorderly or drunk behavior will result in immediate eviction from the premises.

7. Smoking and E-Cigarettes

  • CCWS is a smoke-free environment. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes, is allowed only in designated areas.

8. Photography and Media

  • Photographs and videos taken by guests are for personal use only. Commercial use or distribution of photos, videos, or sound recordings is prohibited unless granted written consent by CCWS.
  • CCWS reserves the right to take photos and videos for security purposes. By entering the Sanctuary, you consent to the use of your image for these purposes.

9. Bag Inspections and Security

  • CCWS reserves the right to inspect your bags for security purposes at any time.

10. Behavior and Eviction

  • CCWS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest displaying offensive, violent, or disruptive behavior, including failure to follow staff instructions, inappropriate language, vandalism, or any violation of these Conditions of Entry.
  • Guests engaging in inappropriate behavior may be evicted without refund. Additional actions may include involvement of law enforcement and a ban from the Sanctuary.

11. Vehicles and Parking

  • Vehicles are parked at your own risk. CCWS is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or belongings.

12. Footwear Requirement

  • Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times within the Sanctuary grounds.

By entering CCWS, you acknowledge and agree to these Conditions of Entry. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund.
