Support Us

By preserving this haven, we ensure ongoing conservation efforts and vital educational experiences for locals and tourists. And we ensure that the Sanctuary continues to be a mainstay in the Coffs Coast community and our visitor economy.

Support Us

The Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is a lifeline for marine rescue animals, and is iconic to the Coffs Coast. Most are rehabilitated and returned to the wild, others are deemed unfit to return to their natural habitat and are lovingly cared for by our team, becoming conservation education ambassadors for our community.

Each year, the Sanctuary rehabilitates and releases more than 400 marine animals. And we fund this entirely at the Sanctuary. Without the Sanctuary, the vital rescue and rehabilitation service ceases to exist.

We are calling on the community to help us to continue our important programs, and help chart a new course for its future and the future of tourism in Coffs Harbour. The Sanctuary’s vision for the future reflects a broader commitment to preserving marine ecosystems and fostering awareness about their fragile nature, elevating the Coffs Coast as a marine conservation centre of excellence.

Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary is a not-for-profit organisation, which receives no ongoing government support. So we rely on people like you to support us by visiting or donating.

We are also proud to be supported by a number of local businesses, who have generously donated to us.

Thanks to Signarama's generous sponsorship, Saffron the rescued green sea turtle was successfully returned to the ocean after 6 months of dedicated care in our Turtle Triage.

Here, Brad Tregent, owner of Signarama Coffs Harbour, shares more about his involvement with the Sanctuary turtle sponsorship. Want to help too? Become a corporate sponsor and make a real impact on local wildlife. Join us in this rewarding journey!
