Eco Rangers is designed for eager teenagers who are not only looking to deepen their scientific knowledge of marine animals but also share a passion for their Conservation. By joining us, you become part of a mission to protect and preserve our marine life for future generations.

This hands-on, interactive, after-school program is tailored for teens 13 – 17 years old who perhaps have completed the Ecogroms program and want to expand their knowledge base or are ready to experience the world of marine life and Conservation.

Each afternoon comprises three components: a syllabus-based lesson on each species, a practical activity with each species and a creative activity (which changes weekly).
Penguins, Freshwater Turtles, Sea Turtles, Sea lions, Fish/rays and Dolphins.

The ECOrangers lessons and activities include:

  • Learning anatomical and adaptations of marine animals.
  • Meeting Freshwater Turtles up close and learning the threats that they face.
  • Getting to know Little Blue Penguins and the importance of their protection.
  • Exploring the world of Sea Turtles, caring for sick and injured Turtles currently in Turtle Triage
  • Experiencing the endangered Australian sea lion and learning their incredible anatomy
  • Discovering the world of Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins and physical adaptations to their environments
  • Helping provide animals with environmental enrichment and its importance to animals.
Enclosed footwear is essential
