Meet Ozzie the Australian sea lion and discover how we are helping to save this endangered species. Ozzie is enormous, weighing in at over 170kg and growing! Australian sea lions are known to grow to 300 kg. He’s proud Dad to 3-year-old Hugo and 6-month-old Miki, both born as part of the Australasian Species Management Program for endangered species. There are less than 6500 Australian sea lions in the wild and our breeding program is the most successful in the world! Learn more about our conservation programs when you visit and spot Ozzie!

The Animal Carer Experience (ACE) is a fantastic opportunity for kids and teens aged 8-16 to experience a taste of life as a Marine Animal Carer during school holidays in Coffs Harbour. They will help feed and care for the marine wildlife in our park and our specialised marine animal rescue & rehabilitation facility. Be warned, children will come home smelling fishy but happy!

The Animal Carer Experience (ACE) runs every Wednesday & Sunday through the summer holidays from 10.30-1.30. $275 includes VIP seating at the Dolphin Dreamtime & Sea Lions presentation, plus lots more. Coral the Conservation Mermaid is back to share her conservation messages, meet your little ones and splash about with them in the lagoon if they’re keen! A swim with Coral is just $50 per child and includes one parent or guardian for free.

Exciting News! Miki, our adorable, 3-month-old Australian sea lion pup, has learnt to swim and is ready to face the world! Spot Miki this weekend splashing around Seal Shores and give him some encouragement.
